I didn't know this was a thing.
ReplyDeleteBill,
ReplyDeleteWe keep telling people that if you think Obama was a warmonger, but at the same time you're going to vote for Killary, you ain't seen nothin' yet. She's the biggest warmonger yet.
Now more than ever we need a new party, a new movement that will shake these b*&_*^%s up and without it, we're doomed.
One of the many irritating qualities liberals possess is the ability to be amused by their own hypocrisy and uselessness. They think it's funny, one of those ironies well-meaning people have to endure. —Jim
ReplyDeleteThere are two anti-war candidates running, one Republican and one Democrat. Neither has a chance. Trump is interesting. Half his comments say the US should stay out of the MENA, and half say we should bomb the terrorists until there are none left. The actually makes him second from the bottom for reiterating that it is America's duty to keep the world safe. The other Republicans, like the Secretary, agree that it's the duty of the US to keep the world free* and safe** with scores from 71% up to 100% strongly hawkish. https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/lindsey-graham-tries-to-stop-trump-the-only-way-he-can-by-quitting/
ReplyDeleteMost of the press says anyone who is not a hawk is an isolationist, and we know where that got the US in '41.
*free - The major mercantile corporations must be free from third world dictators trying to tax them or nationalise them.
**safe - it must be perfectly safe for the major mercantile corporations and their owners to exploit resources throughout the undeveloped world.
