Depression

Depression:

The leather-winged thing with fangs
That crouches in the back of the skull
Whispering
Friendly advice
On how to make it go away
- By making everything go away.

This knife is so bright, so sharp
The pain it is so sweet.

  1. This is a brilliant parody of Emily Dickenson's poem. Painting is a perfect complement to it.

  2. Excellent painting to go with the poem. Love both!
