Pilots either defend or attack, depending. It's not personal. It's not political. <br /><br />The MiG pilot in your story knew that for every bomber he shot down, a family would keep their home and his fellows on the ground would live.<br /><br />The F86 pilot knew that for every MiG he downed, a bomber crew got to to home to their families.<br /><br />Good story; Bill.
