Goa is one of the favourite destinations of affluent Portuguese who are interested to see the traces of the Portuguese presence, yet they return back with some frustration. They had expected to find them well preserved. Unfortunately, they say, Old Goa is today a desolate village with a conglomeration of massive churches and other church buildings.
