The world got a chance to see some of the ISA's allies in action (the 'moderates') when they murdered one of the Russian pilots in cold blood, all to the sounds of 'God is great'.Senior Dogs Abroadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15070644209769137511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7826101215822428783.post-3128348460065024592015-11-26T08:43:14.172+05:302015-11-26T08:43:14.172+05:30I knew there were a few things I wanted to say. Never mind that he is far more liberal in his attitudes towards gays than the average Russian, the point is that many liberals in the US cannot see beyond this one issue. This confounds me. Kids killed in Gaza, yeah yeah, hospitals bombed, yawn, but persecute gays and many are up in arms to a ludicrous extent. I had a friend post an article implying that gay Syrian refugees should be given preferential treatment in entering the US. Wow.

All this is off topic. You seem to be right, I have no doubt. Also, did you include the term "bedbug" for a particular reason? It caught my attention.

Finally, to my great shame and sorrow, I do enjoy football, USA style football, it can't be helped. But I do not take my news from CNN. I am more likely to believe you than CNN. A lot more. benni https://www.blogger.com/profile/09942386013237815777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7826101215822428783.post-47428825469441337822015-11-26T04:34:22.658+05:302015-11-26T04:34:22.658+05:30I'm getting old and wonder what the changes wi...I'm getting old and wonder what the changes will look like by the time I get around to dying. Americans tend to only get the Texas version of American history, where the Cherokee remain grateful to President Jackson for booking them on a great and scenic vacation trip.

But US imperialism, which didn't start until 1898, ended long ago. The US still has a few, tiny island colonies, but only because they keep voting against both statehood and independence, the leadership figuring that being colonies of a very reluctant colonial power is better than the alternatives.

Kipling thought the only sapiens Homos were the ethnic north-western European dolichocephalic blondes, and it was their solemn duty to colonise the savages that inhabited the rest of the world.

Joseph Conrad said the British Empire was very good for the colonials, but the other European Empires were horrors.

Eric Blair thought the European Empires were all evil, including the British Empire, which was more-or-less equally evil as the rest, but all were surpassed in evil by the American neo-Empire.

Finally, Graham Greene said that the British Empire was much worse than the French or Spanish Empires, and was only surpassed in evil by the American neo-Empire.

An Imperial Power puts an ethnic member of the Imperial Power in as viceroy or governor of the colony, the resident Head of State, subject to the Imperial Power's Head of State. All senior leadership positions are ethnic members of the Imperial Power, appointed by the Imperial Power. The Imperial flag flies over the colony. A neo-Imperial power puts in an ethnic member of the neo-colony as a puppet Head of State, and the neo-colony has a seat in the UN and its own flag. The neo-Imperial power gets to steal as much or more than the old Imperial powers, but with much less responsibility.

So the US is NOT an Imperialist power, it's a NEO-imperialist power (which is worse). So NSA or NISA, not ISA.

And I have seen US neo-colonies, and Conrad's 'The horror, the horror' rings true.

MichaelWmeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7826101215822428783.post-44114345937404367312015-11-26T02:24:46.568+05:302015-11-26T02:24:46.568+05:30The English language columnists in the US and UK a...The English language columnists in the US and UK are already saying,

'The evil Syrian regime has killed 250,000 innocent, peaceful, unarmed protesters, many with poison gas, while a few criminals who have infiltrated the moderate Daesh have killed only a few hundred, at most, and almost all of those criminals have been neutralised already. If we can get the Daesh to accept Sykes-Picot, leave the democratic, free, Iraqi government alone and concentrate on ridding Syria of the evil regime, then they would be a far better alternative for Syria. Most Syrians are Sunni, and strongly support the Daesh, and wish the US of A would help them to freedom, peace, and democracy just as the US helped the Iraqis and Libyans, who all agree that they are MUCH better off now than before the US of A liberated them.'

Fortunately, if exposed to actual eye-witness evidence, or Seymore Hersh for that matter, most Americans dismiss all those as racists who hate a Great President only because of his skin colour, or else as tinfoil hat conspiracy theorists.

The old Guardian.uk gave a version of the MENA that matched what I can see with my own eyes, but the UK government got rid of that newspaper and replaced it with a new and much improved version that keeps reiterating the version I gave above, a story that must be true since the Great and Good US government always tells the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, and any reasonable person believes the US government before he believes what he sees with his own eyes.

MichaelWmeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
